Outdoor Heps was this past weekend down at Princeton, and it was as exciting as always. I'm feeling too lazy to go through all the distance events, but here are some photos to highlight the meet:
Starting off on Saturday evening, the 10k (Phil, Jonny, Brian, Dylan, and Adam).

Brian paced the race for us....but no one went with him. New 5k PR for the chief! (Photo credit: Dad/Mom) |

Rest of the guys in the 10k. Phil was our top finisher in 8th in 29:59 (Photo credit: Nathan Crumpton). |
Next up on Sunday was Hank in the steeple....big PR of 8:56 for 4th place.

Silas and myself got to combine our skiing powers in the 1500 final, I was 2nd and Silas was 5th which were good results for both of us.

What's that you say Silas? It's too hot? (Photo credit: Dad/Mom). |
The 800 is becoming a really stacked event in the Ivy League, and unlike the 1500, it's never very tactical at Heps. Luke Z. made the final and ran a season PR for 7th.

We entered Will, John, and Curtis in the 5k. Mike doubled back from the 1500 prelim the day before and Jonny from the 10k to pace the first 3k or so. The same Princeton guy that won the 10k won this race as well. Impressive, but kinda makes us Dartmouth folks sick to our stomachs. Will was right in it until the last 200m, he scored for us in 6th.

The last distance event was the 4x800, an event that we haven't scored in since I've been here. The team of Luke Z, Luke D, Tim, and myself got us 1 point in 6th. Not a bad run.
With Heps in the books, most of us will be getting ready for regionals and/or getting some PRs, either at IC4As or the New Balance Boston Twilight meet this weekend. It's that time of the season where the hard training is in the books, and so there is more time for
schoolwork playing League of Legends.

P.S. - I swear I'm going to get someone else to make a post at some point.
