Congrats to the 13s for getting out the door and on the road. My advice to you with The Hobbit ready to bust into theatres is: "always follow your nose."
After getting sidetracked by visiting Tim "Smooth" Gorman, Adam Broherchi, and Dave "Georgia Peach" Connolly at the Nike Northeast/ NY regionals, I was able to get away from Poughkeepsie, or was it Arlington...or perhaps La Grangeville?...bah, doesn't matter. I was able to get home where I could get back to editing our illustrious tempo from last spring on the rail trail.
It was an arduous task, let me tell you, because we had so much great footage that I didn't want to chop it all apart. And you know how long winded everything I do ends up being so to get it this to be brief was nothing short of pushing myself to the limit. Anyways, forgive me if I took some editing license at a few points in there, I was just experimenting. Plus I figured that this copy wasn't going on flotrack nor was it geared towards anyone in particular but us, so I kept the footage a bit longer and the tone a bit more silly, especially towards the end (Danaher, if you don't like the end, I don't know you).
So I hope you enjoy my little production; sit back and admire the view of your backsides for 5-8 miles!
Sorry for the low quality. Vimeo seemed to mess up a lot of the quality. I promise it was much sharper in iMovie.
