So we are back in Hanover again for yet another winter term and it has been very interesting weather so far. Some cold temps, some snow, some melting, some more snow....I can't believe that I am actually talking about the weather on a blog.
Well, the term started off well and we had the Dartmouth Relays to look forward to right away. New Balance did a lot of work to make it a big event so naturally it was a resounding success.
The DXC men had a moderately strong appearance, putting athletes in the 800, mile, 4x400 and the 3000. The 3000 was probably the biggest success of the night, with Dylan O'Canadian putting on a very strong performance and beating a pr-ing Jon Gault by a hair breadth. Tony, Will and Tim also did particularly well. Tim's ferocious CBA kick was not matched by any.
O’Sullivan 8:22.64
Gault 8:24.15
Gorman 8:37.58
Anzivino 8:43.53
Callan 8:44.90
I apologize for the lack of jokes in this post, but at this moment I am tiredly sitting in a library chair after a large dinner and am feeling more in the mood to nap or to watch tv than to make clever jokes so this is as best as we'll get for now.
Anywho it has been a great time so far and we expect big things from our boyos when they head down to New Haven this weekend.
Matt
